- Tree Planting – We align with the national AKA organization annually to plant trees within our local Washington, D.C. community, tracking and measuring the environmental impact of our efforts.
- Community and Home Gardens – We encourage our community members to participate in creating community and home gardens through programming, aiming to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainable agriculture.
- Waste Reduction – We engage in eco-friendly practices to reduce household waste, encourage sustainable living, and host annual clothing and shoe donation drives to further minimize environmental impact.
- Shredding and Electronics Recycling Days – We host two annual events in Washington, D.C. to safely dispose of unused electronics and shred old paper documents, helping reduce landfill waste and conserve natural resources.
